Two Ways to Work Together
Choose a flat monthly Care Plan if you want problems prevented and a fast answer when something breaks. Choose Hourly Help if you only need someone now and then.
What the Care Plan Includes
Every computer on the plan gets the same coverage, so there is nothing to pick from a menu.
Not included: your Microsoft or Google subscriptions (you pay them directly) and cloud backup, billed separately below.
What It Costs
A Care Plan is $150 per computer per month, with a $300 monthly minimum. Here is what that looks like for three typical offices.
Setup is $250 for each group of 10 computers, rounded up. Monthly figures are before cloud backup.
Add-Ons, Only If You Need Them
Servers, office network care, cloud backup, and staff without a computer are priced separately, so you only pay for what your office uses.
| Add-On | Price | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Server and NAS | $100 per server per month | Patching and backup checks |
| Office network care | $100 per site per month | Router/firewall and Wi-Fi checkups and updates |
| Cloud backup | $9 per computer per month, billed directly by backup provider | Automatic backup of each computer |
| Staff without a computer | $25 per user per month | Security training and account administration |
On Hourly Help, network and web maintenance work is billed at the hourly rate.
How It Works
Business hours, after-hours rates, time off, and cancellation, spelled out plainly so you know what to expect from your IT support.
Which One Fits?
Not sure whether a monthly Care Plan or hourly IT help is the better fit for your office? Here is how to decide.
Not sure? Tell me about your office and I’ll recommend one. Both work best for offices from one person up to about 20 computers. If you need round-the-clock staffing or have more than that, I’m probably not the right fit, and I’ll tell you so.
